It's a big wine-world out there! This 5-week, in-depth course is designed for the beginner wine-enthusiast looking to develop their knowledge and appreciation of wine.
Class will be held Sunday afternoons 5-6pm, April 7-May 5, 2024.
This course covers wine sensory and theory fundamentals including winemaking basics, tasting techniques, core grape varieties, food pairing, and regional highlights.
You will taste 25 wines with food pairings designed and prepared with this course in mind. As well, a comprehensive course manual will be provided for you to keep.

Class 2: Sparkling Wine
Defining Sparkling Wine; History of Sparkling Wine; Major Styles, Grapes and Regions; How Sparkling Wine is Made, Tasting and Evaluating Sparkling Wine, Pairing Food with Sparkling Wine
Class 3: White Wine
How White Wines are Made; Major Styles, Grapes and Regions; Tasting and Evaluating White Wine, Pairing Food with White Wine
Class 4: Red Wine
How Red Wines are Made; Major Styles, Grapes and Regions; Tasting and Evaluating Red Wine, Pairing Food with Red Wine
Class 5: Rosé, Fortified & Dessert Wine
Rosé: Defining Rosé and How It's Made; Major Styles, Grapes and Regions; Port, Sherry, Sauternes and Icewine: The History, How They're Made and When To Drink; Pairing Food with Fortified & Dessert Wine.
